How to Use the HingeLock® Mini
01 | Open the door
Open the door approximately 90° or more.
02 | Position the Mini
Hold the HingeLock® Mini by its base and place it on top of the middle hinge within the door jamb.
03 | Secure it on the hinge
Place the bridge of the Mini over the hinge so the hinge sits within the Mini’s hinge cavity, ensuring the Mini is parallel with the floor.
04 | Set the door
Release the Mini, then slowly allow the door to rest against it.
05 | To remove
Slightly open the door, then lift and remove the Mini from the hinge.

Important Use Guidelines

Use the middle hinge. Place the HingeLock® Mini over the middle door hinge as shown in the instructions above.

Ensure it is positioned correctly. The top of the hinge should sit within the Mini’s hinge cavity, with the Mini positioned approximately parallel to the floor.

Close the door slowly against the Mini. Do not slam or force the door against the HingeLock® Mini.

Always remove the Mini before closing the door. Open the door slightly, grasp the Mini by the base, and lift it away from the hinge.

Confirm proper fit before use. Door and hinge configurations vary. Do not use the Mini if it does not fit or position correctly on the hinge.

How to Use the HingeLock® Wedge
01 | Choose the right orientation
Start with the Wedge in its lower-profile orientation for smaller door gaps.
02 | Position the Wedge
Place the Wedge under the open door with the FLOOR marking facing the floor.
03 | Set the door
Slowly allow the door to rest against the Wedge until it is held in place.
04 | For higher door gaps
Rotate the Wedge 90° and position it under the door using its taller-profile side.
05 | To remove
Slightly open the door, then pull the Wedge out from underneath the door.

Choose the appropriate profile for the door gap. The HingeLock® Wedge has two-profile geometry designed to accommodate different door gaps.

Position the Wedge securely beneath the door. Make sure the door is resting against the Wedge before leaving it in place.
